The protection of rights of the groups is necessary for the society today. This brings out nationality and sense of goodwill. Fairness is what differentiates humans from an animal.
Humans have compassion. It is the reason why many organizations are playing an active role in the protection of these rights. Currently, there are many groups, recognized worldwide and celebrated for the achievements that they have made over the past.
International Migrants Rights Advocacy is an example of these groups. It was formed 20 years ago with the primary aim of helping others in the society.
They have concentrated heavily on migrants, having worked tirelessly to ensure that the migrants have their rights in whichever part of the world that they are going to. They have been participants in various important events involving their line of work. This includes the United Nations Summit on the immigrants.
The IMRA have worked in various protests that have been important in the getting the rights of particular groups realized.

There is the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law which boasts of having over 50 years of successful functioning. The same cannot be said to many groups. The human right group was formed during the administration of John F Kennedy.

In the past years, there have not been many organizations that have been started by journalists. Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin the co-founders of the Phoenix New Times and Village Voice Media. It all started back with the reporting of the Sherrif.
They made a report without fear that exposed the individual who was covered at the grand jury proceedings. Later on, they were jailed due to the report that they had handed out. They were later released, and they sued the government. Fortunately, they won the case and were paid an enormous amount of money.
This capital that they garnered was then used in the formation of the Frontera Fund. This has been of great assistance to those who are looking to have their rights defended.
The two have come from a humble background and have gone an extra mile seeking to protect the rights of inmates. This can be seen as an extremity of justice among the two individuals. The Fontera Fund having successfully served for years, is now the face of human and civil rights.
